Professional Body Tattoo Training
Course Structure:
- Theory Classes:
Dermatology, hygiene, and safety protocols.
- Drawing Lessons:
We provide a range of drawing classes where you’ll learn the essential foundations of tattoo design.
- Practice on Silicone Skin:
You’ll first learn to use the tattoo machine on silicone skin — the gateway to real tattooing. Various techniques will be practiced here, from simple black and grey designs to realistic styles, before moving on to live models.
- Practice on Live Models:
A major part of our course focuses on hands-on training. You’ll refine your technique by working directly on live models under professional supervision.
- Final Exam:
The course concludes with a practical exam. Upon successful completion, you’ll receive a certificate of completion, qualifying you to take the state accreditation exam.
State Qualification Exam

Tattoo Artist Professional Theory
20 hours
Tattoo Artist Professional Practice
206 hours of contact hours, 200 hours of guided home practice through assigned project work
Portfolio Creation
24 hours of guided independent work
Final Exam: Practical
The candidate will create a pre-agreed, palm-sized color or black-and-white tattoo on their own model, which will include contour filling and shading.
